This is my second year to serve on the Teagle Steering Committee.
The 1998-1999 academic year was the third time I have served on the W.T.
Young Scholarship Committee. Each time I have struggled for ways to make
the process better. Still struggling.
This is the second year, in my second turn, to serve as a classroom visitor
for peer reviews. I have visited (or am planning to visit) nine teacher's
classrooms during the past two years.
I have been actively involved with Transylvania's Faculty Technology
Initiative. I have been involved almost since the beginning, which included
researching other institutions as to how they have addressed the issue of
offering faculty training in technology. I am convinced that we are proceeding
in the best way possible.
I have spoken at several events at Family Weekend and Fall Orientation
Programs (for parents).
I have regularly participated in Open Houses and Admission Events
held in Louisville and Nashville.
