With the knowledge of what a supertask
is and what information it needs to function, it
is now possible to describe in detail the six supertasks
which make up creative reading. First, I
present those three supertasks
which fill support roles within the
creative reading theory.
memory acts
as the interface between each supertask and the
knowledge base of the reasoner. The
reasoning
supertask acts as a general purpose understanding
mechanism, responsible to making sense of concepts
which enter the reasoner. This will
include a range of concepts from
those which are known to the reader to those which
are completely novel. Finally, the
sentence
processing supertask interfaces the reader to the world of text.
