The two previous sections have acted together to present an evaluation of my theory of creative reading. The empirical evaluation establishes a baseline performance for the model. Argumentation throughout this dissertation shows that the model is an accurate instantiation of the theory. The direct theory evaluation, then, uses these two facts to argue for the validity of the theory. Taken as a whole, the evaluation shows that the theory covers the behavior known as creative reading, at the level of reading at which I have been developing the theory.
