Practicality

The framework and thesis facets of my work also reinforce each other for the purposes of being practical research. The fact that I am making use of creative behavior has allowed a somewhat easier implementation of a comprehensive reading system than would have been suggested by the complexity of the behavior. And, because I am grounding the research in the reading of real-world narrative, the creativity side of work was able to become instantiated as well. The mutual support is the key to the entire research effort. While scaling the research up to more stories is a labor-intensive task, due to the need to encode a great deal of background knowledge in conceptual form, the   creative understanding process will actually aid this process. Since every view of a concept will not need to be provided to the system, some of the knowledge engineering effort is lessened.
